Chess Algebraic Notation

Posted on 13. Sep, 2009 by in Article

We have just added an article on Algebraic chess notation to our articles section. Algebraic notation is a form of chess notation that allows a game or part-there-of to be represented textually. Once a player learns to read algebraic notation, they can make use of games and opening listed in many books and on many websites. This is an obvious advantage for all beginner players.

Thanks for the notation diagram – the print is a little small though and hard to read. Thanks again – I just discovered your site and will be checking back. I made an error on the other comment – please disregard, thanks again
